Cool Band Name: Spectral Friends
Quick search on google tells me no one’s done it yet and gone public. I hope someone does. As long as it’s not used for Country music. Except if it is a Civil war tribute band. Then it’d be ok.

Another band name that I’ve liked for a while: Hope’s Requiem
It’s the name of my band in Guitar Hero. 
There’s no hair over there (well, I guess over here)
Well, my hair got cut back to the way it was in college. It freaked out everyone at work, because they’ve never seen me with short hair. Their reactions were worth it. I kinda miss my long hair, but I like that it isn’t in my eyes anymore I’ll try to get a picture up at some point.
1 week left to go at the Big Evil, and I have no motivation to work. I have some stuff I want to do before my last day next week, but I don’t want to be here. I just want to go home and start my vacation. Lady Spock is in a good mood, and the Empress is asleep in the crib. These are the times when Lady Spock and I aren’t attached to our room, when we can just hang out, or do stuff around the house that we want done, or any number of other things.
But no, I’m stuck at work. Blechy.
Lady Spock may be coming back into WoW. We’ve discovered that it is really easy to do small quest stuffs while rocking the sleeping baby, so new characters are FTW as long as you don’t mind the fact that you will probably die a lot Perhaps we’ll even break out our original mains for the new 60-70 content while the Empress naps. Madness.
I’m going though my mp3 collection to try to rank everything. It’s a daunting task. I load up my mp3 player and take that to work, rate songs as I listen to it all day, then sync it at night. I can make it though about 80-100 songs per day. Haven’t yet figured out what I am going to do when my contract ends, because mp3 players at home are kind of a no-no whilst taking care of the baby. Maybe I’ll just play them through speakers and try to rate them that way. We’ll see.
Two updates in the same month. Maybe there’s hope for me yet

Empress Zoe has a blog now: http://empresszoe.wordpress.com/. There’s nothing on it now, but that’s mostly because Lady Spock put it together, and has yet to give me access to it. When I get access, I’ll try to put something up on there.
The Schwa is also updating his blog once again: http://schwavan.blogspot.com/. If you haven’t talked to the schwa in a while (read: last 2 weeks or so) I *HIGHLY* suggest you check it out.
My contract with the ‘Big Evil’ ends on the 19th of this month. I am sooo looking forward to it. Lady Spock and I planned this out from the beginning. This way, we both get to spend time with the Empress during the first months of her life. While stressful, it should be really cool. This actually hasn’t been a bad contract (it looked like it was going to be at the beginning), and I might actually be willing to do this job again for another contract. We’ll see, for now I’m about to have time off that I plan to enjoy. I always plan to do a lot of stuff during these times, but rarely does it pan out that I do anything.
I’m considering going for a full time position next, instead of another contract. 3 months of no work is nice, but no pay during that time is less then exciting. I mean, sure there’s Unemployment, and it actually pays pretty well (~$300 a week), but it might be time for more permanent work. Also, considering the Empress is going to need to be in Daycare anyway, I might as well make more $$ for the same amount of time.
I’m going to cut my hair. This long hair experiment has been fun, but I know I look better w/ short hair. And as we are going to be getting professional pictures taken on Monday, I want to look good for posterity. I will be sad to not be able to play with it as much, or run my hands through it, but I will not miss eating my hair at every meal
Lastly, I’m missing people (specifically those who don’t live out here) something fierce right now. I’d really like to hang out w/ people and just like play board games and such. It would just be really nice.
I will try to be good and expound on these later. For now, I need to update Empress Zoe’s blog.

Well, it happened
I’ve finally made a blog. This is probably doomed to failure, but you never know, it might work. I’m notoriously bad at this type of thing (see my Deadjournal. No updates for months – years at a time). I’m not often much of a writer, but I’m gonna try again. Many of these post will probably be mirrored on my deadjournal, cause I’m lazy and want to get 2 for the price of 1.
Either way, for good or bad, here it is
